HMU OFFERS A DIPLOMA IN MINISTRY AND A DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY.
Upon the completion of your diploma in Ministry or Theology, you could immediately enroll to either a Bachelor's in Ministry or Bachelor's in Theology Degree.
DIPLOMA IN MINISTRY (80 CREDITS)
A Diploma in Ministry is a course specially designed for those who aspire to serve their local church or overseas as a missionary. This program will cover essential theological, ministry and spiritual training that are essential for effective ministry. They will learn from instructors with proven ministry, anointing, and gifted leadership skills.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our Diploma in Ministry program is specially designed for those who desire to serve in their local churches as; Pastors, Worship Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Youth Pastors or Missionaries.

This course will lay an important foundation in Pentecostal theology and Spirit empowered ministry with a core New Testament church principles and values.

It comprises of 25 courses and the program can be completed in 18 months. However, students are encouraged to study at their own pace.

The student will receive 3 to 5 credit hours after watching 5–8 video segments and completing all required assignments.

The courses include pre-recorded video classes, video resources, reading assignments, quizzes and written projects.

Practical Ministry Credit: Students in this program are also required to complete 6 credits or 30 hours of practical ministry. The practical ministry could include: local church outreaches, mission trips, church ministry, street evangelism. It also includes writing a paper detailing the type of event you chose, your objectives, and the lessons you learned to be submitted to receive credit.

John Torres is the Lead Pastor of Word & Spirit International Church, located in Eugene, Oregon, which he co-founded with his wife, Pastor Helen, in 2011. John is an international evangelist and certified Life, Leadership and Business coach with the Destiny Coaching Group.
John has travelled and ministered internationally over the past twenty-eight years, ministering in churches, conferences, crusades, and leadership events. Pastor John has served as a denominational leader and board member of a Spirit Filled Bible College.
John Torres holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Eugene Bible College and has done graduate studies through California Graduate School of Theology and the King's Seminary. He attended Jack Hayford’s School of Pastoral Nurture, the Society of Church Consultants and completed CfaN School of Evangelism.
